Where Part is Used
Please check that you have the correct Product and Type Number, both of which are VERY important, by checking the product abel on your tool (examples illustrated below).
Please Note: European Union CE Marked specification 230/240V tools are the same in EU countries (other than the mains plug or plug transformer) and use the same parts, therefore any part numbers and details on the UK service sites will correspond with each EU countries own versions of the Dewalt and Black and Decker Service Websites. Tabled below are all the Black & Decker and Dewalt major European language sites:
Non-EU Specification Power Tools
Some spare parts sold within the EU/UK markets will also often fit Non-EU countries Dewalt and Black and Decker Tools, such as America, Canada, Australia etc. But please be aware that some model numbers of tools, due to voltage differences and different safety regulations etc, are not marketed in the EU and will therefore often contain parts that are unavailable from within the European Market. We can only supply parts that are available to the EU market. So if you are a customer, from outside of the European Union, ordering a part, please make sure via your own country service site that you have the correct part number for your model and type before ordering. Just because a particular switch is used in an American specification power tool DOES NOT mean the same switch is used in the European version of the same tool
